International Tournaments
| The Qingchunbao Cup Zhejiang International Traditional Wu Shu Tournament On August 5th and 6th 2006 students of the Aiping Tai Chi and Wu Dang Kung Fu Academy competed in an international competition in Hangzhou China. This annual tournament plays host to martial artists from around the world. This year there were over 3800 competitors. The opening ceremony is an invitation only team competition that featured 8 talented teams. The Wu Dang Wu Shu Team won the first place trophy in that competition with a high energy long fist routine. The Wu Dang Wu Shu Team finished the competition with an impressive 34 Gold Medals, 8 Silver Medals 1 Bronze Medal. One of Grandmaster Aiping's student was recognised as 4th place overall for the competition. |
