In Dungeons & Dragons, certain characters are able to have higher perception and insight, allowing them to see and know more about the world than others around them. In real life, people can also gain increased perception and insight through the study of Tai Chi. In this video Shifu Shirley explains how Tai Chi trains your body to better perceive tension and direction of force. Then take this concept from theory to practical application by practicing the movement White Crane Spreads its Wings.
We welcomed the HealthyGamer_GG community in March 2021 in our 2nd Dr. K raid. Shifu Shirley introduces the concepts of Qi, Tai Chi, Yin Yang philosophy and coining the term Stressbending. We had some wonderful conversations with the amazing Healthy Gamer community.
Join us Friday 5/21 from 3PM - 7PM EDT for a charity live stream to raise funds in support the Healthy Gamer Foundation. Join us: Twitch.tv/AipingTaiChi.

Check out our latest YouTube video. If you’re suffering from stress and tension, try these 5 simple Qigong exercises that will help ease your tensions and provide stress relief. Learn two key acupoints, one that will help relieve head pain and the other that will regulate the spleen. Practice these Qigong movements: Beginning of Heaven’s Creation, Plucking Stars, White Crane Flies High, Crane Stretching Upwards, and Flying Like a Crane.
Here is the updated version of our animal qigong video on YouTube. The previous version accidentally left out the bear qigong movement. Sorry about that!
When you practice animal Qigong movements, are you just going through the motions or are you taking in their animal spirits? Level up your animal Qigong movements and maximize their benefits by approaching the movements like playing a Dungeons & Dragons Druid character. When a DND Druid transforms into an animal, their animal character sheet takes over and they take on the animal’s attributes. In this video we play with this concept in our own movements. Transform into tigers, bears, monkeys, and geese with us. Learn the following animal Qigong movements: Raising the Tiger’s Paws, Tiger Seizing Prey, Tiger Springing on Its Prey, Swaying Like a Bear, and Wild Geese Lands on the Beach.
